Oilers’ Evan Bouchard will be a game-time decision vs. Golden Knights

The Edmonton Oilers are holding out hope defenceman Evan Bouchard will be available to play Saturday against the Vegas Golden Knights.

Head coach Kris Knoblauch said that Bouchard’s injury isn’t anything major and that he is 50/50 to play against Vegas.

Bouchard left Thursday’s 7-1 win over the Minnesota Wild late in the third period with a lower-body injury.

The 25-year-old has six goals and 22 points in 29 games this season.

If Bouchard isn’t able to play, Alex Regula could draw into the lineup. Edmonton claimed the defender off waivers from the Boston Bruins on Wednesday.
