Panthers, Cardinals head to overtime

The Cardinals' playoff hopes are still alive.

Chad Ryland nailed a 58-yard field goal on the final play of regulation in Charlotte and the Cardinals and Panthers are now going to overtime tied at 30.

The kick came after a seven-play, 35-yard drive that featured a pair of Kyler Murray scrambles and three completed passes. Murray had handed the Panthers a chance to kill the remaining clock when he threw an interception just before the two-minute warning and the Panthers picked up one first down on a long throw to little-used wideout Dan Chisena.

Bryce Young missed Chisena on another third down, however, and the Cardinals remain alive. If they lose, they will be eliminated from playoff contention because the Rams beat the Jets.
