Kansas City announced Mahomes is questionable to return with an ankle injury. But with few minutes left in the game in Cleveland, it's unlikely Mahomes will be back in the game.
It was fourth-and-3 when Mahomes threw an incomplete pass intended for JuJu Smith-Schuster. He was hit hard by a couple of Browns players and Mahomes got twisted. He was helped off the field by teammates before getting his ankles taped on the sideline.
With that going on and the clock at 5:23 in the fourth quarter, Wentz came in to play quarterback to get the game closed out.
Mahomes’ day ostensibly ends with him at 19-of-38 for 159 yards with two touchdowns.
