While Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was on the field in Dallas on Monday night, police were at his home in the Cincinnati suburbs responding to a report of a break-in.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office confirmed the break-in to WLWT in Cincinnati. There is no indication that police have identified a suspect.
An unidentified person who was at Burrow's house called 911 and said, “Someone broke into my house. It’s like completely messed up.”
Police responded and found a broken window to a bedroom, which had been ransacked.
Earlier this season, the homes of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce were burglarized and NBC News reported that the FBI is investigating whether the incidents were part of a transnational crime ring that may have targeted other professional athletes as well.
