Predators acquire Ylonen from Lightning in exchange for Angello

The Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lightning have swapped AHL forwards.

The teams announced Wednesday that Nashville acquired Jesse Ylonen from the Lightning in exchange for Anthony Angello.

Angello, 28, has recorded 14 points (seven goals and seven assists) in 41 games this season with the Milwaukee Admirals.

Ylonen, 25, has 25 points (eight goals and 17 assists) in 47 games with the Syracuse Crunch.

Ylonen has played 111 career NHL games, all with the Montreal Canadiens, including 59 last season, while Angello has suited up for 31, all with the Pittsburgh Penguins, last appearing in four games during the 2021-22 season.
