Rangers’ Igor Shesterkin nearing return from injury

Shesterkin sustained an upper-body injury ahead of the 4 Nations break against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Feb. 7. The goalie remained in the game, but the team later announced he would be out one-to-two weeks with the ailment.
In 39 games this season, the former Vezina Trophy winner has recorded a .906 save percentage, 2.87 goals-against average and three shutouts with an 18-19-2 record.
