Saquon Barkley banged up but Eagles lead Steelers 17-13 at halftime

Jalen Hurts threw two touchdown passes in the first half, and the Eagles took a 17-13 lead into the locker room at halftime.

Hurts completed 12-of-13 passes for 146 yards despite a splint on an apparent broken finger on his left hand. He also is wearing a glove. The Eagles listed Hurts on the injury list all week as a full participant.

A.J. Brown has five catches for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Eagles running back Saquon Barkley left the game in the second quarter after Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick hit the running back in the thigh. The Eagles have not given an injury update, though the half ended with Barkley standing on the sideline.

Barkley, who needs 111 yards to stay on pace to set the NFL's single-season rushing record, has 31 yards on seven carries.

The Eagles outgained the Steelers 177 to 80, but Pittsburgh sacked Hurts three times, including two by T.J. Watt. One of Watt's sacks was a strip-sack with Beanie Bishop recovering for the Steelers at the Philadelphia 45.

Eagles punt returner Cooper DeJean muffed a punt that Nick Herbig recovered for the Steelers, setting up a minus-8 yard field goal drive.

The Steelers scored 10 points in the final 2:34 with an 11-play, 70-yard touchdown drive that ended with Pat Freiermuth's 9-yard touchdown reception and a five-play, 14-yard drive after Braden Mann's 29-yard punt for a 49-yard Chris Boswell field goal.

Russell Wilson is 9-of-16 for 67 yards and a touchdown and is the team's leading rusher with 13 yards on three carries.
