The San Jose Sharks placed centre Colin White on waivers Friday.
White appeared in three games with the Sharks, registering zero points. He also has five goals and nine points in 20 games with the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League this season.
The 28-year-old from Boston signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Sharks last month.
White was drafted in the first round, 21st overall, by the Ottawa Senators in 2015. He has 44 goals and 113 points in 323 career NHL games with the Senators, Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Montreal Canadiens and Sharks.
Meanwhile, Philadelphia Flyers centre Anthony Richard and New Jersey Devils defenceman Santeri Hatakka were also put on waivers.
Richard has two goals and six points in 15 games with the Flyers this season. The 28-year-old also has eight goals and 19 points in 18 games with the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Hatakka, 24, has yet to play with the Devils this season and has five goals and 20 points in 48 games with the AHL’s Utica Comets.
