The Dallas Stars appear poised to get an important veteran back in the lineup soon.
Tyler Seguin took contact during Thursday’s morning skate and is “knocking at the door” of a return, according to head coach Peter DeBoer.
Seguin, 33, had hip surgery in early December and hasn’t played since. Before the injury, he was on pace to be a point-per-game player for the first time in six years, with 20 points in 19 games.
The Stars have four games remaining in the regular season.
