Texans wide receiver Tank Dell was transported via ambulance to the University of Kansas Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma center, Kathryn Tappen of NBC Sports reports.
Dell had his entire left leg placed in a vacuum splint before he departed on an ambulance cart to an awaiting ambulance for the 12-mile ride to the Kansas City hospital.
Dell likely underwent immediate surgery.
The team has offered no updates other than to rule him out of a return to today's game.
Dell was seriously injured on a 30-yard touchdown when teammate Jared Wayne smashed into Dell's knee. His 2023 rookie season ended prematurely, too, with a fractured leg.
