Travis Hunter, Ashton Jeanty, Dillon Gabriel, Cam Ward are Heisman finalists

The finalists for the Heisman Trophy were announced Monday night.

Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel, Colorado cornerback/receiver Travis Hunter, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty and Miami quarterback Cam Ward will attend the award ceremony on Saturday night in New York City.

Notably absent were Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo and Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

It is expected that either Hunter of Jeanty will win the award.

Hunter has 14 receiving touchdowns for Colorado's offense and four interceptions for its defense.

Jeanty has rushed for 2,497 yards and 29 touchdowns and averages 7.3 yards per touch.
