Tyler Higbee catches go-ahead TD after Rams strip-sack Aaron Rodgers

Welcome back, Tyler Higbee.

Making his 2024 debut on Sunday after suffering a torn ACL and MCL during last year's postseason, Higbee caught an 11-yard touchdown pass to give the Rams a 16-9 lead over the Jets in the fourth quarter.

Los Angeles had gotten the ball deep in New York territory after safety Kam Curl strip-sacked Aaron Rodgers with linebacker Jared Verse recovering the loose ball.

It was a significant defensive play for unit that has struggled to get off the field against the Jets during the contest.

It took just three plays for L.A. to get into the end zone. Kyren Williams ran it a couple of times before quarterback Matthew Stafford rolled to his right and found an open Higbee. The tight end went airborne, flying into the end zone for the score.

After missing an extra point earlier in the game, Joshua Karty hit this one to put Los Angeles up by seven.
