Which UFC fighter holds the record for most # of different submissions? (submission variety)
I'm a newer fan and cant find the record-holders for the statistic anywhere. Off the top of my head Islam Makhachev has demonstrated 5 different subs in UFC (d'arce, RNC, arm triangle, kimura, arm bar) and Charles Oliveira has demonstrated 6 different subs (RNC, anaconda, calf slicer, triangle armbar, triangle, guillotine). I'm sure a lot of fighters also have more sub types outside of the UFC in other MMA events (e.g. Makhachev also had triangles (and reverse and inverted triangles?) outside the UFC but i felt like keeping it to just UFC allows for a more balanced comparison). submitted by /u/Blyndblitz [link] [comments]
