The Minnesota Wild are adding some size up front.

Minnesota acquired forward Justin Brazeau from the Boston Bruins on Thursday night for forwards Jakub Lauko and Marat Khusnutdinov, the teams announced.

Boston also receives its own 2026 sixth-round pick back in the deal.

Brazeau will join the Wild in the middle of his second NHL season. The 27-year-old has 10 goals and 20 points while averaging 12:58 of ice time over 57 games with the Bruins.

The six-foot-six right-shot winger has also delivered 89 hits this season.

Lauko, meanwhile, will return to the Bruins after just 38 games away. A third-round pick by Boston in 2018, the 24-year-old was traded to Minnesota last summer as part of a deal that saw Vinni Lettieri go the other way.

Through his short time with the Wild this season, Lauko has three goals, six points and 27 penalty minutes.

Khusnutdinov has had more of a consistent presence in Minnesota’s lineup this year, skating in 57 games for the third-place Wild. The 22-year-old has managed two goals and five assists.
