The Toronto Maple Leafs feel right at home in Wild Rose Country.
Cheered on by their usual healthy chunk of fans in Alberta, the Leafs completed a sweep of the province with a 6-3 win over the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night.
The Leafs, who beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 on Saturday, are now just one point behind the Atlantic Division-leading Florida Panthers.
William Nylander led the Leafs with three goals, while John Tavares, Bobby McMann and Matthew Knies added singles. This was Nylander’s second career hat trick.
Matt Coronato, Yegor Sharangovich and Joel Farabee scored for the Flames. It was Farabee’s first for Calgary after being acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Flyers last week.
